Whether you’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years and need a prescription update or you’re trying out contact lenses for the first time, Heritage Vision Care is here for you in Edmonton. We’ve been in practice since 2002 and have provided eye exams and vision care for many customers in that time. Our patients come from a wide range of ages and we serve all stages of life.

Why Eye Exams Are Important
No matter how old you are, regular eye exams are important. They help ensure long-lasting vision and eye health. Heritage Vision Care offers eye exams for all ages, from children up to seniors. If you want more information on what an eye exam includes, you can give us a call and we’ll walk you through it. It should be noted that everyone below 19 and over 65 is covered through Alberta Health Care.
What to Expect
When you arrive, you should expect to be at our clinic for anywhere between 20 minutes to over an hour. The length of time will depend on several factors, such as the reason for the visit, the complexity of the patient’s needs, and any emergencies that may arise.
Types of Visits

Complete vision and ocular health exams
should be annually for patients under the age of 19 or over the age of 65. Biannually for patients between the ages of 19-64.

Contact lens assessments
should be done annually.
